Melissa has been providing end-of-life education in the mid-valley since 2008.

As the Grants & Communications Manager at Willamette Health Council, she gets to know organizations in our area that are trying to meet the biggest needs in our community. As a volunteer at Willamette Vital Health, she offers complimentary advance directive workshops to community groups and enjoys facilitating conversations about hospice and palliative care, grief and loss, and other end-of-life issues. In her professional and personal life, Melissa has walked the road of serious illness, death, and grief and is passionate about helping women plan for their futures to make the difficult times in life easier to navigate.
